Local Restaurant Week

Dates
Planning for 2010 NOW! STAY TUNED!- Monday through Sunday. One week only, no extension. We kindly request that your offer remain for every day of the event and that you do not opt-out on the weekend.

Description
Participation requires each restaurant to provide a dining package for $20.10. Prices exclude beverage, tax and tip.

Reservations
A direct link to your website or online reservation processing system will be provided in your profile page. Expect an unusually high volume of calls for reservations during Local Restaurant Week Host/Hostesses should be prepared with your reservation policies for the week, as well as the days of participation, cost and other details.

Menu Presentation
Make sure your Local Restaurant Week menus have all necessary information on them, particularly noting that beverage, tax and tip are not included in the $20.10.

We suggest that guests be presented with both your standard menu and the Local Restaurant Week menu at the start of the guest experience. A special template will be available for this menu and can be downloaded from our Tips for Success link.

Why am I paying a fee?
A participant registration fee goes straight to advertising and promotion of this even to help make it as successful as possible. The goal of Local Restaurant Week is to optimize customer turnout.

Donations
Local Restaurant Week has chosen the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank the designated charity that we will support. During registration you will be asked if you would like to make a donation of $25. Your restaurant will receive recognition for giving on the official website of the event.

Information
LocalRestaurantWeek.com will maintain an active blog on its homepage. The sole purpose of this space is to provide promotional information on participating restaurants. We strongly encourage you to submit your news through LocalFoodService.com. It’s free and easy. You can use this any time during the year to promote your special events.
