2010 Farm to Table Conference

The Fourth Annual Farm to Table Conference: Eat Local Food will take place at the David Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh March 26 and 27.

The event features farms, retailers, restaurants, health and wellness professionals and tourist bureaus promoting local farm products.

Speakers will address eating locally grown food, as well as methods of eating local food throughout four seasons. Live cooking demonstrations from area chefs will highlight products grown or produced in the Pittsburgh area.

The show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

There is also a food tasting immediately following the event on Friday night.

Tickets are $25 and are good for both days. There is a buy-one-get-one sale going on until Feb. 28.
